About Noah Trips

Noah Trips is a tour company based in Hurghada on the Red Sea. We run our trips ourselves: the boats are our boats, the coaches are our coaches, the guides are our guides. We are not an agent, a broker or a platform listing other companies' trips. The company you book from is the same one that meets you at your hotel reception on the day.

Booking direct

There is nobody between us and you. Your message reaches the office that puts the trip together, the price shown is our price, and if the pickup time or place changes we are the ones who tell you and the ones who sort it out — not a third party you are passed to who passes you on again. The price is the same for everyone, and does not change with nationality.

We pick up from hotels in Hurghada, El Gouna, Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh, Safaga, Sakkala and Dahar.

• Snorkelling and island trips: Giftun, Orange Bay, and Dolphin House at Shaab El Erg.
• Day boats for diving.
• Desert safari and Bedouin dinner.
• Coach day trips to Luxor or Cairo.

Some of our programmes run over more than one day.

How the day goes

When you book you give your hotel and room number, and we work out your own pickup time from where you are staying. The time comes with your booking confirmation, and a reminder follows before the trip. There is no single time for everyone: somebody staying in Sahl Hasheesh is picked up at a different hour from somebody staying in Dahar.

The guide meets you at the hotel and stays with you all day: explaining the stops, organising the swims, answering your questions, and bringing you back. What each trip's price includes — meals, entry tickets, equipment — is written on that trip's own page.

On the Luxor and Cairo trips we ask for passport details or a national ID number before you travel, because the road passes checkpoints. Those details are stored encrypted, are seen only by the member of staff who needs them to run the trip, and are used for nothing else.

Choose the site language at the top of the page. Trip details and booking terms are shown in it, and your confirmation and reminder reach you in it.

Paying, and cancelling

Prices are shown in euro. Depending on the trip, you either pay the whole amount online, or a deposit online with the rest to the guide on the day, or the guide in cash on the day.

Card payments are collected by the payment company in Egyptian pounds, so the amount on your statement may differ slightly from the euro price, depending on the exchange rate and on how your card issuer converts it.

A booking is not confirmed until the payment company tells us the money has arrived — not the moment your browser returns from the payment page. If you close the browser after paying, the payment stands and is not lost; and if you see a success screen, the booking is still not complete until our confirmation reaches you.

If you cancel more than 48 hours before the trip, what you paid comes back to you less the payment company's fee. Within the last 48 hours the deposit is not returned, and anything you paid above it comes back less the same fee. The payment company's fee is deducted from the refund whenever the cancellation is yours.

If we cancel — bad weather, the sea closed, or too few people booked — you get the whole amount back with no fee deducted. We offer you another date first, and you can take the refund if you would rather. All of it is set out on the booking terms page.
