Terms and Conditions

Last updated 17 September 2026

This page sets out the agreement between you and Noah Trips when you book a trip. Read it before you pay: completing a booking means you accept it.

Who you are booking with

Legal name: Noah Trips Tourism Company
Tourism licence number:
Registered address: Sheraton Street، HURGHADA، RED SEA، 11223
Tax number:

We work out of Hurghada on the Red Sea, and we run our trips ourselves: our boats, our coaches, our guides. We are not an agent, a broker or a platform selling other companies' trips. Whoever takes your money is the same party that runs the trip and answers to you for it.

What you are booking

Every trip has a page on this site giving the time, how long the day lasts, the areas we pick up from, and what the price does and does not include. The agreement between us is that trip page as it stood the moment you booked, together with the confirmation we send you and these terms. Where a detail on the trip page differs from what is written here, the trip page governs that trip alone.

When your booking is confirmed

Your booking is confirmed the moment the payment provider tells us the payment has gone through. It is not confirmed by your browser returning from the payment page.

What that means in practice:

  • If you close your browser or lose your connection after paying, your money is not lost. The confirmation reaches us from the payment provider and we send you your booking confirmation.
  • The success screen on your phone is not a confirmation from us. Until the confirmation reaches us, the seat is not held in your name.
  • We never sell more seats than the trip holds. Until your booking is confirmed, the seat is still available to somebody else.

On trips that allow you to pay the guide in cash on the day, there is no online payment to confirm. Your booking is confirmed when we send you the confirmation, and you pay the guide on the day.

We send a confirmation after you book and a reminder before the trip. If the confirmation does not reach you, contact us before your pickup time — do not book a second time.

Prices and currency

  • Every price on this site is shown in euro (EUR).
  • Card payments are settled by the payment provider in Egyptian pounds. The amount taken from your account may differ slightly from the euro price, because of the exchange rate on the day and the conversion your card issuer applies. That difference is between you and your bank.
  • The price does not change with nationality. Everyone pays the same price for the same trip on the same date.
  • The price that applies to you is the one shown on the trip page at the moment you complete the booking.

How you can pay

Payment methods differ from trip to trip, and the ones available appear on the trip page before you pay:

  1. The whole amount online.
  2. A deposit online and the rest to the guide on the day. You are shown the deposit before you pay it.
  3. Cash to the guide on the day.

Card details are entered on the payment provider's own page. Noah Trips never sees your card number and never stores it.

What we need from you

Being at the pickup point

We pick up from hotels in Hurghada, El Gouna, Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh, Safaga, Sakkala and Dahar. Your confirmation gives the hotel and the pickup time.

  • Be in the hotel lobby and ready at the time written. That is when the vehicle arrives, not when you start getting ready.
  • If you change hotel or room after booking, tell us straight away. The pickup is arranged from what is in your booking, and your name and your hotel are what the driver has to find you by.
  • The boat leaves at a fixed time with other passengers aboard. If you are not there and we cannot reach you, it goes without you. If you know you will not be able to travel, tell us as early as you can, and read the cancellation and refund page.

Passport and ID

The coach trips to Luxor and Cairo pass checkpoints that require passenger details by law. So we ask for passport details or a national ID number when you book either of those two trips, and you must have that same document with you on the day — a photograph of it is not enough. These details are stored encrypted, are seen only by the member of staff whose work needs them, and are used for nothing else.

Health, and anyone who cannot swim

Tell us when you book, and remind the guide on the day, about anything that matters: pregnancy, recent surgery, a heart or breathing condition, difficulty moving, or medication that affects you at sea, in the desert or on a long coach day. Some trips may not suit you, and we would rather say so before you pay than at the pickup point.

If anyone in your group cannot swim, tell us. Snorkelling is done from the boat in open water. Wear the buoyancy aid the crew gives you and stay where the guide can see you.

On diving trips, tell the dive team your medical history and your certification level before you enter the water.

Children and infants

  • Every child must be on a booking with a responsible adult and stay with that adult all day. The crew and the guide do not take the place of the person accompanying them.
  • Give the ages of everyone travelling when you book. Age decides the size of the buoyancy aid and the shape of the day, and it decides the child price on trips that have one — which is shown on the trip page.
  • Some trips do not suit small children or infants, such as the long coach days and the diving trips. Any minimum age is given on the trip page.
  • Aboard the boat, children stay beside the adult with them, and enter the water only with an adult and with the crew's knowledge.

On the boat and on the trip

  • The captain's and the crew's instructions are binding. Whether to sail, where to moor and when to enter the water are the captain's decisions alone, and they are made on safety.
  • Do not enter the water before the crew says so, do not swim away from the boat, and do not climb on the rails.
  • Do not touch the reef, stand on it or break anything off it, do not feed the fish, and take nothing out of the sea, alive or dead.
  • We may refuse to take a passenger, or put them ashore at the first safe place, if they put themselves or anyone else in danger, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or refuse safety instructions. That is not a cancellation by us.

What we may change or cancel

We work at sea and on the road, and conditions change. We may change the pickup time, the boat, the coach or the guide, or the order of the stops and the snorkelling sites, where the state of the sea, the weather, the road, a checkpoint or safety requires it. We tell you about any change that matters as soon as we can.

We cancel a trip for weather, for the sea being closed, or for fewer passengers than the trip needs to run. A trip that has not filled is cancelled 48 hours before it was due and everyone booked on it is told. Whenever we cancel, we offer you another date first, and you may take a refund instead — a full refund, with nothing deducted.

Cancellation and refunds

In short: cancelling more than 48 hours before pickup is free and you get your money back. Inside 48 hours the deposit is not returned and anything you paid above it is. On any cancellation by you, the payment provider's fee is deducted from the refund and is yours to bear. When we cancel, nothing is deducted.

How to cancel, how the amount is worked out and when it reaches you are on the cancellation and refund page, which is part of these terms.

Your data

We collect what we need to run the trip and to reach you: name, phone number, email, hotel and room number, how many are travelling and their ages, any special requests, and passport or national ID details on the trips that require them. Your guide or driver receives only your name, the size of your group, your hotel and the pickup time — no payment details reach them. The full detail is on the privacy page.

Our responsibility

We undertake to run your trip with reasonable care, with our own crew, guides and equipment. If we fall short of that, tell us and we will put it right.

We are not responsible for:

  • What is outside our control: the weather, the state of the sea, the sea or the port being closed, a road closure or a checkpoint's decision, a hotel failing to pass on a message, or your flight being late.
  • Your belongings. Bring as little of value as you can — a boat is no place for phones, cameras and gold, and the sea does not give back what falls into it.
  • Anything arising from safety instructions being ignored, or from a medical condition we should have been told about and were not.

We recommend travel insurance that covers boat trips and water activities, and diving if you are going to dive. The insurance is your responsibility, not ours.

Nothing in these terms is intended to take away a right the law gives you as a consumer.

Complaints

If something happens on the day, tell the guide while you are still there. Most problems are solved on the spot; very few of them can be solved a week later.

If it is not resolved, write to us at info@noahtrips.com or message us on WhatsApp +20 01042805623 as soon as you can after the trip, and preferably before you leave Egypt. Give the booking reference, the date of the trip and what happened, with any photographs or names that help. We will look into it and come back to you.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones published on this site at the moment you completed it; a later amendment does not touch a booking already made.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute we cannot settle between us goes before the competent courts of the Red Sea Governorate, where the company is registered.
