About this trip

The desert afternoon with the pace set by the youngest in the group rather than the fastest: a two-seat buggy so nobody rides alone, a camel ride, and tea at the village.

Four and a half hours, thirty places, out in the afternoon by 4x4. Everything sharp has been taken out of it on purpose — that is what the word family is doing in the name.

How the day goes

  • Afternoon pick-up from your hotel by 4x4.
  • A briefing and the safety instructions at the camp, and a helmet for anyone riding.
  • The pace is set by the youngest in the group, not the fastest.
  • The buggy run over the dunes — two seats, so nobody rides alone.
  • A camel ride, at the pace a camel sets.
  • Bedouin tea at the village.
  • The drive back to your hotel.

Good to know

Confirmation is sent within 24 hours.
Quad and buggy riders must be 16 or over; younger children ride as passengers with an adult.
Not recommended in late pregnancy, or with back or neck problems.
A sandstorm can cancel a departure — we move you to another day or refund you in full.
