About this trip

The flagship beach club on Giftun — loungers, shade, and a restaurant on the sand if you want one — with a snorkelling stop on a protected reef on the way.

Protected is why the fish are still there. It is the most built-up island we sail to, which is exactly the reason to pick it or to pick another. Twenty-five places, a full day, out at eight.

Two or three different day trips can be booked in one go. Each one stays its own booking, and you pay your guide in cash on the day — booking this way does not take a card.

How the day goes

  • Air-conditioned pick-up from your hotel.
  • Transfer to Hurghada Marina, and boarding.
  • Sailing out to Mahmya.
  • A snorkelling stop — mask, snorkel and fins are on board, and a guide is in the water with you.
  • A protected reef, which is why the fish are still there.
  • The beach club — loungers, shade, and a restaurant if you want one.
  • Soft drinks and water are on board all day.
  • Sailing back to the marina.
  • The transfer back to your hotel.

Good to know

Confirmation is sent within 24 hours.
The trip depends on the weather and the state of the sea. If the coastguard closes the port we move you to another day or refund you in full — you never lose money to the weather.
Children are welcome, and must be watched near the water.
Please be ready at the pick-up time we agree: the boat cannot wait on one hotel.
