About this trip

The Orange Bay day with a first dive inside it. A briefing in shallow water — breathing, equalising, the hand signals — then the descent with the instructor beside you the whole way.

No licence and no experience are needed. Twenty places rather than thirty, because the instructor's attention has to go round, and the island afternoon is unchanged: swimming, shade, and nothing you have to do.

How the day goes

  • Air-conditioned pick-up from your hotel.
  • Transfer to Hurghada Marina, and boarding.
  • Sailing out to Orange Bay.
  • A briefing in shallow water — breathing, equalising, the hand signals.
  • Your first dive, with the instructor beside you the whole way down.
  • Time on the island — swimming, shade, and nothing you have to do.
  • Soft drinks and water are on board all day.
  • Sailing back to the marina.
  • The transfer back to your hotel.

Good to know

Confirmation is sent within 24 hours.
No licence and no experience are needed — the instructor is beside you for the whole dive.
No flying for 24 hours after the dive. Please plan your departure day around it.
The trip depends on the weather and the state of the sea. If the coastguard closes the port we move you to another day or refund you in full — you never lose money to the weather.
Children are welcome, and must be watched near the water.
Please be ready at the pick-up time we agree: the boat cannot wait on one hotel.
