About this trip

Two hours in a boat with a viewing deck below the waterline. You go down the steps, sit at the glass, and the reef goes past — the guide picks the spot on the day for the wind.

Nobody gets wet, which is the whole point of it. Forty seats and an eight o'clock start, back before the middle of the day: a short outing rather than a day out, and best planned around.

How the day goes

  • Air-conditioned pick-up from your hotel.
  • Transfer to Hurghada Marina, and boarding.
  • Out to the reef the boat works — a guide picks the spot on the day, for the wind.
  • Down to the viewing deck below the waterline — the reef through the glass, and you stay dry.
  • It is a short outing, not a day out — plan the rest of the day around it.
  • Sailing back to the marina.
  • The transfer back to your hotel.

Confirmation is sent within 24 hours.
Nobody enters the water, so this suits anybody who does not swim, and small children.
The trip depends on the weather and the state of the sea. If the coastguard closes the port we move you to another day or refund you in full — you never lose money to the weather.
Please be ready at the pick-up time we agree: the boat cannot wait on one hotel.
