About this trip
Out after dark, past the last of the lights, to where the sky over the Eastern Desert is properly black. A telescope comes out once it is, and somebody who can read the sky points out what you are looking at.
Dinner at the desert camp first. A six o'clock pick-up and a late return, twenty-four places — the only trip we run that starts in the evening, because it has to.
