Things to do in Hurghada: short trips and family outings
Short outings, most of them leaving at ten for venues about twenty minutes from the hotels, with an air-conditioned transfer each way and the entry ticket in the price. They take two to four hours, so the rest of the day is still yours. The Aqua Park is the exception: a full day of slides and pools.
For children there is the Grand Aquarium, with a walk-through tunnel and about forty tanks, all of it indoors and out of the sun; Mini Egypt Park, every monument in Egypt at model scale in one shaded park; and the dolphins, as the indoor show, a poolside photo session, or supervised time in the water in a controlled pool.
The Hurghada City Tour takes you out of the hotel strip to the old town, the fish market, the marina and the big mosque, with free time for photographs and the bazaar.
