Day trips to Luxor and Cairo from Hurghada
These are the long days: Luxor or Cairo and back to your hotel the same evening, with a licensed Egyptologist, lunch at a local restaurant and entry to the sites named on each trip in the price. They start very early. Bring your passport, because it is checked at the road checkpoints.
For Luxor, the coach and the VIP minibus visit the same three sites: Karnak, the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's temple. The full-size coach keeps the group price; the fourteen-seat minibus means a smaller group and less time gathering people at each stop.
For Cairo you see the Pyramids and the Sphinx, with either the Grand Egyptian Museum or the old Egyptian Museum on Tahrir Square. By plane it is about thirteen hours door to door, with no night drive at either end. By coach it is eighteen hours by road, as long as anything we sell, so read that number before you book it.
