Desert safaris from Hurghada
The desert trips leave in the afternoon, with pickup from your hotel by 4x4, and Bedouin tea at the village is part of every one of them. Anything that puts you behind handlebars starts at the camp with a briefing, the safety instructions and a helmet.
Moto Safari is the quad run on its own. Super Safari adds a jeep run over the dunes and the sun going down behind the mountains. Moto Safari + Dinner & Show keeps going into the evening, with dinner under the stars, music and a fire show after the food. Family Safari is set at the pace of the youngest in the group, in two-seat buggies so nobody rides alone, with a camel ride as well.
If you would rather go slowly, camel riding is two hours at the pace a camel sets, and horse riding is an hour along the shore or into the desert as the sun goes down. Bring closed shoes and a light jacket: the desert turns cold the moment the sun goes down.
